Tanks.gg has a new beta website!

Yo guys,

If you don't know about it already, Tanks.gg (this is the link to the old version) is a well-known resource website for WoT players with 3D armor models of tanks, tank stats, tank comparison, etc.

Now, the author has released a beta version of the website, with a fresh new interface, improved navigation, cleaner tank comparison, a search bar, and more.

It also has the 9.17.1 test server data, including new HD armor models for tanks, balance changes, and the new Maus line.

I've checked it out briefly and like it a lot already. Shoutouts to kittenses on the NA server, who runs and updates the website.

T28 Concept Get!

After weeks of grinding the LT missions with the Bulldog and RU 251, finally did it! Finished LT-15 with the secondary condition of surviving the battle, and got the T28 Concept!

The beast in all its glory:

And that includes the VK 30.02D, a tank that has always intrigued me.

New Buffs in 9.17.1

• Changed the turret traverse speed of the second turret from 30 deg/s to 45 deg/s
• Changed the turret traverse speed of the first turret from 32 deg/s to 45 deg/s
• Changed penetration of the Pzgr 40 shell for the 8,8 cm Kw.K. 36 L/56 gun from 171 mm to 194 mm
• Changed the top speed from 56 km/h to 60 km/h
• Changed the engine power of MB 507 from 720 h.p. to 800 h.p.

New PB for getting 2 MOEs in a tank!

I got this raw data about all the upcoming premium shop deals for "decoration boxes". Notable boxes include the ones that give you a specific lvl 5 decoration and 1875 gold for $5. This rate of exchange is 375 gold for $1. That is the best money-to-gold exchange rate I've ever seen. On top of that, the boxes give you a "decent" chance to win a Pzkpfw B2 or 1000 more gold or 30 days of prem. You also get a small chance to win the recently buffed M46 Patton KR. So if you're planning to spend $5 or more on the holiday boxes, please wait for December 30th. The deals are way better (unless you only want decorations).

3 Marks of excellence on one of my favorite tanks.

I went tryhard mode with my platoonmate Possums in his M44, trying to get in spotting damage as well as regular damage to help me to my 3 mark dream. And that dream has come true in this game (warning, 3 pictures):

XVM Sniping Confirmed

Playing T-34 on Highway, was one-shotted at beginning of game before I could do any damage by a Grille.

I got a bit angry at RNG (not him) and arty mechanics, and later the same Grille PM'ed me after battle, saying:

(4:11:26 PM) I was following the PzIII/IV and was gonna kill him, but he ran up on you and I saw you both. He was a tomato, so you became the unlucky target

All I can state is:

Alternative to Tank Inspector

Pretty cool website many of you already know about. Has the 3D penetration/armor models, detailed soft stats, gun depression circle, etc. Pretty much everything you want from Tank Inspector, including "hidden" tanks, on a website where you don't have to download anything. It's also a lot more kind to lower-end computers for the 3D Armor Models. :)
